We have the steps in place, organized to keep the decisions and details on track.
STEP ONE
Consultation
Our first conversation is all about the general scope of work and your budget for the project at hand. We’ll ask direct questions, listening closely to what you have in mind. Together, we’ll determine whether we’re a good fit and the right team for your project. Next, we’ll plan the initial site visit to your home to understand in greater detail your dreams, goals, and ideas.
STEP two
Proposal
Following our visit, we’ll incorporate what we’ve heard, along with ideas of our own into a detailed estimate. Our proposal will clearly reflect all parts of the project. You’ll have specific pricing and an understanding of what’s included in the scope of work. This step creates a unified vision, avoiding any confusion, since we’ll be working from a fully accepted plan. Once the proposal is signed, we will move forward with a construction agreement, which will also require your signature.
STEP three
Selection Process
Making design selections early in your project is critical. Not only does it help us understand your style and design goals, it also allows us to address any unforeseen issues or delays. Your advance choices for plumbing fixtures, lighting, building materials, finishes, and other items will reduce any budget confusion and keep the project on target in terms of cost and timing. Working through any minor changes or substitutions at this stage, we can stay on course for a successful and transparent completion.
STEP four
Pre-Construction
Before any hammering or sawing begins, all construction documents will be filed, including any required for zoning or engineering. We will also apply for all necessary permits. Our office team, along with our Project Manager, will outline a clear, detailed schedule for each phase of the project that feels comfortable and realistic.
Construction
With a well-defined plan in place, we gather our family and exceptional tradesmen to create and build each aspect of the job. During construction, we are adamant about sustaining a safe, clean, and organized environment. We collaborate through constant check-ins, site visits and an open stream of communication. We ensure all details are discussed and agreed upon before each phase is carried out.
STEP Five
Completion
Our attentiveness and communication remain consistent. As construction wraps up, our Project Manager and Superintendent walk the job inspecting and creating a punch list to ensure our quality craftsmanship has been 100% delivered. We review what, if anything, is left to do, and instruct our crew to complete every item, flawlessly. We work just as tirelessly at the end of every project to be certain you will love your home. Your satisfaction is our biggest goal and greatest accomplishment!
